does new PS3 have 512 MB of ram now?

I think my PS3 linux has never been rebooted for 5 months.

I am getting the same message on both of my PS3. Both are idle now.

Dear all, we upgraded the server software, which has an additional memory-check. I am updating the memory limits to the existing WUs so the flow should resume quite soon.
Edit: if you want to speed up restart, just do "retry network communications".

Same here. I worked fine for a couple of days after TG made some changes at the 22nd. but now I get messages like this again :

tor 25 jun 2009 16:22:25 CEST|GPUGRID|Message from server: No work sent
tor 25 jun 2009 16:22:25 CEST|GPUGRID|Message from server: Full-atom molecular dynamics is not available for your type of computer.
tor 25 jun 2009 16:22:25 CEST|GPUGRID|Message from server: Full-atom molecular dynamics on Cell processor needs 476.84 MB RAM but only 189.22 MB is available for use.
tor 25 jun 2009 16:22:25 CEST|GPUGRID|Deferring communication for 31 sec
tor 25 jun 2009 16:22:25 CEST|GPUGRID|Reason: requested by project

So who will take care of making a more permanent fix of this issue ?
The ps3 will run out of work shortly !

Yes. You can always connect to Yoyo ( quite stable project :-)). Have a look at : http://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/

Also at Seti some effort has been made to allow the PS3 to use its power ( does however require some manual activity in order to get it up and running ). Have a look in the forums at Seti or maybe somewhere in these GPUGRID / PS3GRID forums there are also so hints to this.

Yes. The reason was that not only the existing WUs needed updating, but also the WU generation.
