Getting this : "[error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space"

when uploading result. This is the task for reference but doubt it is involved due to the nature of the error: http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=916886

Anyone else getting this? (error time 00:13 Wednesday 8th July)

Yep, on 2 machines for the last 2-3 hours. Both machines are XP SP3, 1 with twin GTX 260-216's and the other has twin GTX 280's. Both machines are AMD dual core.

it's the server, it's out of space.... you'll just have to wait for another hd to be added, or for someone to do a little cleanup....

Indeed -- apparently this started happening about 7 hours ago (10AM PDT), I've not seen any notice from the admin side that they are aware of this but don't know of any way to get a message to whomever has the call button.

I believe the server is in Barcelona -- so the problem started around 5PM?? their time. I suspect we'll have to hold our breath until they notice things when folks arrive on site tomorrow morning their time. Perhaps then we'll see a notice which comforts us in some way :)

It is the same problem they had about a week ago -- it is 5AM in Barcelona -- they will likely attend to it in about 5 hours.

That being said, that it has happened twice in a bit over a week is not a good thing.

Yeah, identical problem as last week. Looks like they need a new disc array!

Or, depending on their configuration, perhaps simply to add a drive and expand the existing array.

Yeah, identical problem as last week. Looks like they need a new disc array!

I hope it's not somebody Pounding the Server for Work thinking they'll get more that way, that can fill up a Disk because it's been done @ more than 1 Project before ...

I just realize that the upload size is 12mb (12 megabytes)! Is this value the norm for all gpugrid upload results? I was unaware the upload size was that large. I am paying for a cheap DSL connection with a maximum download of 128kb and I have never seen anything faster then about 80 kb. I recall the upload ratio is much less then the download.

Yes, this upload size is normal. There have also been larger uploads for longer WUs, which caused some complaints.
