It\'s right there in the title. When are you guys going to fix the pen drive so it no longer has the new firmware issue?

Any news? Well, we will fix the new firmware issue soon, but it is unlikely that will substitute the kernel. gdf

Any news? Well, reading Geoff\'s information (He is from Sony), he appears to state that the old kernels are part of the problem. It was not merely a boot loader issue, and besides, the newer kernels should perform this process faster as the cell CPU is in the kernel tree now, and it was not with the currently used kernel. I can\'t see why you wouldn\'t use the most recent kernel in goeff\'s git branch on kernel.org. The new switches included in the configurator for the kernel leads one to believe that it would easily run the client faster, and the client could probably use some updated tweaking as well toward this end. Linux on the PS3 has come a lot farther than when you guys started this thing. Anyway, the graphical kboot front end \"petitboot\" is also newly updated, and he even used the newer kernel and all that is is a boot loader.

Any news? The aim of the pendrive is to have a minimal system working. We have just updated the live image with the new bootloader which works on firmware 2.10 (please post any problems). It does not seem to be slower than others. For a fully featured system we have to stick to other distributions like YDL because we do not have resources to maintain it. Best, gdf.

Are there any plans to install wireless drivers in the USB-stick version? It\'s not an option for me to use wired, and I\'d rather first try the USB version to installing YDL (which has wireless).
