We have uploaded the new beta 6.20 version which should fix the previous minor problems of beta 6.18.

Disappearing task,

I downloaded a GPUGrid task, but it did not appear in the task list, within Boincs advanced view.
I closed Boinc and reopened, but the task still does not appear. I have been using 6.10.36 for a while. Just after upgrading to 6.10.37, but still no task.

I can see that it was sent to me, but it is not visible under Boinc Manager, Tasks.

From the web site I can see that the task was sent,
http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=1998015 This is a Beta 6.20

The task that is running does show, http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=1997367

No failures on 6.18.

6.20 crashed after 22 seconds. It also took down the 6.18 task that had been running in tandem with it.

My vanishing Beta 6.20 managed to find its way onto the GPU for a whole 5 seconds before disappearing in a Swan Fatal puff of CUDA e-smoke.

Message 15781 - Posted: 16 Mar 2010 | 18:16:08 UTC - in response to Message 15773.

Additional Work Buffer set to several days.
Running 1 task on a GTX260, with 1h 15min left.
No other tasks visible under the Task bar, Boinc Manager 6.10.37. Upgraded yesterday to try to get rid of this. Reinstalled drivers and rebooted today. Still only one task visible, one phantom; does not appear in Boinc Manager, but I can see online that it has been sent to my system by viewing my system tasks online.

Getting this message:

16/03/2010 17:59:47 GPUGRID Message from server: No work sent
16/03/2010 17:59:47 GPUGRID Message from server: No work is available for ACEMD - GPU molecular dynamics
16/03/2010 17:59:47 GPUGRID Message from server: No work is available for ACEMD beta version
16/03/2010 17:59:47 GPUGRID Message from server: (reached limit of 2 GPU tasks in progress)

I did have two GT240s in the same system, several weeks ago, but it occasionally crashed - so I just put the one GTX 260 into the system instead.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
