I have been playing with this online game on protein folding (based on rosetta@home code). It is actually impressive and very educative.

Excellent educational tool, but watch you dont spend all your spare time playing! They only keep a recent average credit system, so what you did a year or two ago is not kept in some tally. They publish people that finish in the top 5, so that attractive to some.
It takes a while to learn to use, but it is guided learning with lots of pictures. To be quite good you dont really have to know your stuff either - most people dont know what the hydropathy index values of side chains are, but they can visualise them and sort of work things out.
Anyone studying amino acids, peptides and protein interactions should spend a couple of days with this at least.
