Does Gpugrid only support Fermi gpus now?

I attached and then found cause I have a pair of GTX295 cards, Gpugrid tried to download work under Boinc 6.10.56, I'm currently crunching on Seti@Home on My gpus running 6.09 and My driver under XP x64 is 257.15, Yet It says gpugrid wants Fermi, Is this true?

Not only fermi.
Your 295s will do quite well. Please let BOINC Manager continue to try and download WUs, sometimes it takes a while to get it right. I'm not sure why but it is a little odd.

If you are running 295s please make sure you have SLI (multi-gpu) turned off in NVidia control panel.

Thanks - Steve

I'd already disabled Sli.

BOINC asks for CPU work from this project and that's when you get the FERMI message when it asks for GPU work you will get WU's.

No. I' m currently crunching non Fermi works with a 9600GT board which is not Fermi compliant.
But Boinc will give a warning message for those works who need fermi GPU when you don' t have a Fermi GPU.

Oups just saw that this thread was already a little older ! But this may actualize more recent questions about Fermi ... Boinc still suppports non Fermi GPUs.
