Looking for a budget nvidia card for physx and gpugrid crunching. Reguirements are: the shorter the better (190 mm or less is perfect) and the less heat it provides under load the better. Need it for a third card in my ati 6870 cf setup, cause my good old gtx260 is just radiating so much heat under load, its really cooking up my middle card, inserted a 8600gts for now- cant do much with that one. Gtx 260 is lying on the shelf for now, wont fit in my old net pc yet, need a bigger case for that one. | |

In Germany I see the GTS450 for 100€ and the GTX460 768 MB for 130€. The GTX should be about 65% faster (assuming 700 and 800 MHz for GTX and GTS, respectively). The GTX is certainly more power efficient and price efficient. | |
