I have a GeForce GT240. I recently updated to the latest nVidia drivers (since I wasn't getting any more WUs). I've noticed when I'm running GPUGRID, my computer lags like mad -- every second (literally, once every 1 second), it freezes for about a second.

I had to disable the app, since it made my PC virtually unusable. What are my options right now? I guess downgrading to the older drivers would exclude me from participation anyways. Is this a known issue? A hardware conflict? Something else?

Hi, The issue is that the GT 240 is no longer recommended for GPUGRID, surely would have better performance in other projects. Greetings.

In the news there is some discussion about the lag problem. Try to lower the priority of the task from the task manager. If it stops lagging, the problem may be fixed in the new application release.

Other projects?! Not recommend?!?!? Doh!

I'll keep this paused for now until the possibly-future release. I guess another project will have to do for now. :(
