It would be nice if there was a link to a page that summarized the current projects. many BOINC projects offer this on their main page (If there is one here, I can't seem to be able to find it.)

It would be very helpful. For example:
I have completed a task that's described as "s0r660-TONI_SH2MS3-46-100-RND0968" I have been unable to find even a hint on what this did!

Secondly, I would like to tell my BOINC team members (Project Blue Book) about this BOINC project .. that's really super for those of us that have a sweeeet GPU/CUDA card .. I should be a useful "recruiting tool".

Hint: "summary".. as in "tweetable". :-)

The SH2 is a protein domain involved in protein-protein interactions. This particular domain plays a major role in cell communication on the signalling processes for cell growth and development. However, the end goal for running such simulations is not to expand the knowledge on this particular system, but to use it as a model for developing methods to calculate protein-protein binding affinities.

Such methods will be very useful, for example, in the study of why certain wrong forms of proteins stop interacting with other partner proteins, as a way to give explanation to diseases in which these sort of mechanisms occur.
