Hello guys,

I understand that:

- you use CUDA, which is NV-specific
- your app is still beta / in development
- porting CUDA to CTM or DX, if possible at all by e.g. brook, is likely going to be inefficient
- you'd possibly have to write your code from scratch to run efficiently on current ATI hardware

But I'd like to ask anyway: is there anything on the horizon? Is it even planned to support ATI at some point?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm loooking for a new GPU and really like the 4850. If it may be able to BOINC-crunch within a few months I'd be happy with that. Otherwise I may have to convince myself that a 8800GT 512 isn't that much worse / slower ;)

Regards, MrS

Thanks. Kind of funny though, I searched the forums for something like "ATI support" and it didn't find that thread. Should have used "ATI" instead.
