Message 1808 - Posted: 27 Aug 2008 | 21:22:06 UTC

I have a 8600GT with the (latest) 177.92 drivers, witch support CUDA on a Windows Vista 64 box.

When starting BOINC 6.3.10 I get the following message, witch I think is wrong:

CUDA device found
Coprosessor: Device Emulation (CPU) (1)

Also no single task works, they all return an error.

When I try another GPU program (Folding@Home) everything seems to work just fine.

Is there something wrong with BOINC 6.3.10, or with the current application 6.41.

If some more info or debug information or logs are needed please let me know, so we can make this work.

There seem to be a problem with Vista 64.
Is anyone running fine with XP 64?

Is boinc running as service? the problem seems to be that services can't interact with the GPU in Windows Vista.

Yes Boinc is running as a service.
I installed it using the "Secure" option, so Boinc.exe is running under the boinc_master user, and the projects are running under boinc_project user.

You have an out-of-memory error. Can you try to restart your machines?
Let us know.
