Most Recommended:
GTX690 or GTX680 vs. Tesla C2070 or M2070 or Quadro 6000?

Which is best and by how much..........specifically on these tasks, not using standard benchmarks?

Tesla C2070 and M2070 are based on the old GF100 chip. It's almost a GTX470 from the view point of GPU-Grid, just ~5% lower clocked (~5% slower). Power consumption may be 10 - 30 W lower than the Geforce, since they're supposedly using better chips with less leakage for the Teslas. Look for comparisons to GTX470 or GTX465 (the teslas will be slightly faster), that's your best bet.

The Quadro 6000 performs just the same but includes display outputs.

That old GF100 chip is horribly inefficient compared to modern Keplers. I wouldn't recommend these cards (for GPU-Grid) at even half the price of a GTX660Ti (pretty strong, too), let alone a higher price than a GTX680 (what they undoubtly sell for).
