I had an 8800GT running just fine but had to re-install Vista Ultimate from scratch (HD foo-faa).

New HD.
Installed the Cuda drivers (Vista 64) just like before. Installed 6.3.10 just like before.

Now I get this message with the w/u's.

Cuda error in file 'deviceQuery.cu" Line 59 Initialization error

Any ideas????

Hmm... Seems the forum has a bug - I moved your post to the correct forum and your post disappeared - I'm really sorry about that!

Are you sure you haven't installed BOINC in protected application execution mode (as a service)?

[edit]It seems Keith or someone else moved your post to another thread at the same time when I was doing it, sorry for the confusion!

No, I didn't install it as a service, but I just looked and it is a service. I will re-install. Thanks I never install as a service. Must have missed this time.
