Good morning team! I have noticed a dramatic lack in all things Boinc media, with respect to any images, promotional material or video media. If you pull up a random youtube.com video or Google search for anything Boinc related it pulls up nearly nothing. What a shame, I wanted to find a useful video similar to the Folding@Home video displayed at the link below. I wanted something to spread across social media, however nothing exists; not a useful image, video or scrap of media.

I would love to work on a project to correct this massive lack in media. Any designers out there? Any thoughts or ideas? I might not be the best person to take on something like this, however we need to take action now to keep this research platform growing.

Since you have posted this in several different project forums you might consider taking this to Boinc Developers Mailing List and get the main Boinc programmers involved in the promotion of Boinc. The Developers forum is here:
http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/

The mailing list you will have to google as I don't have that link anymore.

That was NOT the point!!! I was trying to give you another option beyond putting the same message at multiple projects and waiting for who knows to answer. I did notice that at Einstein an admin did respond.

I agree with this. Promoting each science will take a lot of time, and a far bigger effort, because we have to target different type of fan (mathematician, astronomy, science (of all type)) or you can promote BOINC itself as an idea, and people will search for project that fit them best.

This is quite a nice moment since there is BOINC for phone / tablet.

Yup Boinc is indeed branching out and embracing lots of new computing devices, even the Raspberry Pi device can now crunch if you wish, not at every project yet but at some.

I was thinking if Boinc as a whole did the video they could give a quick overview of some of the projects that people can choose from, ie Seti and help find ET, Asteroids and help find one that might hit the Earth, Collatz and help prove a math theorem, MilkyWay and help map our Galaxy, Malaria to help cure it and stop the children from dying, WCG and help solve World hunger, DRT to help stop the hackers. etc, etc, etc. There are LOTS of Boinc projects, giving a quick overview, and perhaps even giving people the link to the website showing alot of them, could inspire more people to help.
