Has anyone spotted the new card at GPU-grid yet? How does it compare to GTX1070 and 1080?

It's probably closer to the 1080 than 1070 due to the very similar CUDA core count as compared to the 1080.

He's crunched a Pablo with 48644 atoms in 26,450 s, whereas my GTX1070 on Win 10 needed 25,132 s for such a task. Next is an Adria with 42496 atoms in 25,939 s, whereas this took my card 27,798 s. And the 3rd one is a Pablo with 24752 atoms in 14,785 s, whereas this took my card 13,103 s.

So far this doesn't look like a clear advantage, on average my setup was 1.7% faster. However, I'm writing "system" rather than "card" on purpose. My card is overclocked (1.89 GHz GPU, 4200 MHz memory), I'm using SWAN_SYNC and am leaving a physical core free to support the GPU and his card probably has some reserve left.

I'm getting a 1070ti the day after Christmas (on Tuesday), I can share you my work unit if you wish after I get the card.

I have swan_sync enabled with windows 10, by the way. But I'm using my gtx 670 until the card gets here.

I have a 1070 and 1070Ti in the same computer:
http://www.gpugrid.net/results.php?hostid=447510

1070Ti is stock boost at 1873MHz and 1070 is at 1974MHz with slight OC.

Running 2x per card if there are tasks available. Seem to come in batches.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the results!

Now I have an idea how fast my new card should be.
