You'll have to wait for the researchers to add another batch of WU's. Be patient, it won't take super long. Otherwise, you will have to just scrounge up any of the in-progress WU's that fail or don't complete.

It happened over the weekend but looks like they've added some more yesterday which ran out when I checked. Now there's a lot more.

Some new work, please. We would be grateful.

Most weekends there is a small drought due to the researchers not working on the weekend. It's completely normal.

on the other hand, there were tasks available all the time during the recent holiday season, about which I was positively surprised :-)

My logs keep saying that while it is requesting tasks, none are being downloaded.
1/22/2019 4:28:22 PM | GPUGRID | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
1/22/2019 4:28:22 PM | GPUGRID | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU and Intel GPU
1/22/2019 4:28:25 PM | GPUGRID | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
1/22/2019 4:28:25 PM | GPUGRID | No tasks sent

What's going on?

Same here, i suggest to switch on the "backup" project.

Look at the Server status page and you will note that there are no unsent WU's left in the current batch. My recommendation is to attach a backup GPU program, such as Milkyway@home or Einstein@home, etc. Set them to only give you Nvidia GPU tasks (or CPU if you want those too) and then under the project preferences page, set the resource share to 0. This will make the project only give you WU's when the main project (GPUGRID) is not giving you work.

I noticed something strange; at least something different to how it was before:

Until recently, always when no "unsent" tasks were available, but still quite some being processed (as seen on the Server Status Page), once in a while the one or other already processed task came back for re-processing.

So, in my case with 5 hosts, at least 3 or 4 (sometimes even all 5) were still receiving such tasks at some point.

What I notice today is that after the figure in the "unsent" column became "0" some time this morning, not a single task came back to any of my hosts lateron, although there still are more than 1.100 tasks shown in the "processing" column at this time.

Anyone any idea what happened?

this has changed for better during last night; several tasks were downloaded by my 5 hosts :-)
