I am wondering how to get more RAC.

I noticed that there is a computer on GpuGrid with:
(1) 1080 Gpu using an AMD Ryzen 8 core hyperthreaded CPU , Windows 10 getting 647,694 RAC.

I have a computer with:
(1) 1080 and (1) 1080Ti with an AMD 4130 4-Core Cpu, Windows 10 and I get 541,600 RAC.

I have more GPU power than the other computer but the Ryzen has much more Cpu processing power.

When I look at the Performance screen under task manager in Windows 10 my Cpu is only 20% utilized while running on GpuGrid. It seems I am not being starved for more Cpu power.

Where is the bottle neck to RAC performance? Is it the Cpu or Gpu?

I guess I don't understand how my hardware is utilized by the workload provided by GpuGrid.

Do you have "SwanSync" set correctly?

He's running Windows.

But I can't see where he's crunched any work units. I'm guessing since he's in the Gridcoin team that his computers are running under them. So can't tell if BOINC is using both GPUs or only 1. I'm guessing only 1.

He's running Windows.

yes,I know. It's always been important in Windows to set the SwanSync.

Yes I do have it set correctly. I made that change yesterday and got about 6% more RAC.

What are the motherboards?

It is possible, in the bi-GPU configuration, that the PCI-e is a bottleneck. It may be interesting to monitor port usage via GPU-Z or HWinfo64.

An FX-4150 or better could be interesting to upgrade because it has more L3 cache and a faster HyperTransport bus speed. This may provide more data to GPUs.

Personally, I noticed an improvement in my RAC by changing my GTX 970 from a DDR3 platform to a DDR4. The whole system is important: RAM, PCI-E, bus, etc...
