The last few days I've not been getting work units, and the server is showing none available to send (although curiously, occasionally 1 unit will be available for a second or two).

I can't see anything to suggest that this is planned (no 'news' etc.)

Is there an issue with the server (I can't see any issue highlighted)? If not, when will new units come online, please?

being a long time user, i'm sure you're aware that this project has a history of intermittent work. as you can see by the server page, there is no work to send. when new work is available, I'm sure it will resume, it takes time for the scientists to prepare the data sets.

the occasional 1-2 WUs in the ready to send buffer are more than likely resends ready to go back out from someone who returned an errored WU.

Although registered for a while, it's only relatively recently that I started gpugrid again. I did encounter one period where there were no units previously, but there was more communication about that, that time. Thanks for letting me know. I'll know next time not to be concerned.

I've been getting a trickle of 3 or 4 WUs a day since the cache went dry. Oddly enough, not that many are re-sends of timed-out jobs. I wonder if they are those that originally errored out, resent after code fixes were applied.

I'm running F@H simultaneously and pausing the folding jobs when I notice a GPUGRID task has started. I wish I had the training to write a program which would automate the coordination of the clients. My cards are too slow to make bonus multitasking on a PABLO task.
I think RTX cards could probably handle both tasks running in their respective clients and still make bonus times here.

I've noticed the same thing. Fully expecting any new tasks to be resends but on examination they have been _0's.

I have a hunch we are going to be dry for a while.

If I remember correctly from last year, August is when the campus goes on summer sabbatical and the admins go missing.

Yes, I worked 30 years at a University and this is the time of year that the campus is relatively dormant (I suppose particularly so this year due to the virus). I suspect the fall semester will be starting in the next week or so, requiring the post-grad crew to return to campus. Never the less, it appears Toni and Pablo have not been loafing during fall break.

From here, the model results are analyzed and processed for publication, possibly with the help of PhD students as part of their curriculum.

The large MDAD batch is exhausted. We'll have to analyze it and prepare next experiments. May take some time.
