This morning I controlled last WU and saw a wrong clock rate (GTX 260/192):

221266
# Device 0: "GeForce GTX 260"
# Clock rate: 1512000 kilohertz

It must be 1500000 like before, I did not changed anything, the clock rates are flashed, but I fix the fans, if there is no need to higher speed (in winter).

Where do the reported clock rates come from, driver ?

P.S. The change during a running WU from (the same as above) GTX 260/192 to 9800GX2 was recognized correct, with success, see 219774. Great.

Yes, clocks must be somehow read out from the driver.

I don't know why your setting changed, but one thing is for sure: you can not have 1.500 GHz. The shader clock is set in multiples of 54 MHz, so you can either have 1.458, 1.512 or 1.566 GHz and nothing in between. Usually the software (GPU-Z, GPU-Grid) shows you the clock which is requested from the driver. RivaTuner and I think Everest show you the real clock. BTW the core clock is set in multiples of 27.

So I don't know why your clock apparently changed, but now you see a correct value.

Hm, ... GPU-Z shows me 1500, Rivatuner indeed 1512 MHz. O.k. I understand.

In former task-views I found 1500, on this computer I forgot updating the driver yesterday (177.84 instead of 180.84), that could be the cause, thanks for your answer !
