Got this day multiple restarts with this WU, changed back to 75% of CPU-usage (Quad), now I see 2xCPU-task, 1xCUDA, taskman shows ~67% load. Don´t know what to do, I would prefer to crunch it complete. CPU-time begins to start from Zero, never got a WU (@GTX 260) with that long calculating time ~35 hours.

I will spend a grace period until evening, then switch to next WU. There is time for further trial at weekend, deadline 19.01. If someone can give me good advice ... ?

Other parallel BOINC-project: rosetta.

It looks like a new sub-type of wu. I seem to have downloaded another instance at 10:00 utc today. p16448-SH2_US_3-3-40-SH2_US_32290000_0 is currently awaiting processing. According to BoincView (1.4.2) it will take just 39 days 18 hours 47 minutes and 59 seconds to complete but its calculation could merit 17356.98 credits (if we weren't on a fixed per type of WU system).

To put that in context RaLT925-SH2_US_2-2-40-SH2_US_2490000_0 is also awaiting its turn having been downloaded some 13 hours earlier. BoincView expects it to complete in a little under 20 days and be worth over 8,500 credits on the same basis....

I'm running Boinc 6.5.0 and the gpugrid dcf is currently 18.534994.

Given this is the machine with the GTX260 - 192 shader board I do hope both estimates are inaccruate - they have all been up until now. But I suspect the latest unit will take twice as long - for the same credit????? Don't know....

This WU should take the same time than this one [http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=221266]221266[/url] you already completed in ~7h.

Good news, reducing CPU-load resp. give CUDA more CPU-percentage accelerated the process to "normality": ~ 4,5 BOINC-hours (real 7 hours was a good estimate).

But I can´t be happy with 67% CPU-load for the whole computer-processing. I must optimize the settings ...

Upgraded nVidia-driver to 180.48 (32-Bit), problem solved: 90% CPU-load. That´s o.k. for a 32-Bit system, I think.
