okay so i just added to the boinc. nvidia driver is updated.
its telling me "full-atom molecular dynamics not avablible for my system.

i have an 9800gtx+.

Please post exactly the version of BOINC manager and drivers. You need a GPU supported manager, 6.4.5 is recommended. "Updated" drivers mean for someone WHQL-certified, for other people the latest Beta version.

im using the lastest WHQL, relased date was 1-22-09
im using the BOINC's download listed on gpugrid.com ,using the 32_64 bit version.
using windows vista x64 ultimate

Seems like your BOINC is too old. I'd rather recommend 6.5.0 than 6.4.5.

Not all problems can be solved by GPU, some much less efficiently than by CPUs and some not at all.. with current GPUs. That's why we still need CPU-crunching. Just not for the tasks which are suited for GPUs ;)

i just downloaded the latest beta from BOINC site, works like a charm.
compare to folding@home is alot slower, im gussing its becuase its alot harder job.

If it is 6.6.3. be advised that it has a significant bug in the calculation of LTD and after a couple days you can run into problems...

So far the version with the "best" reputation for all around goodness is 6.5.0, failing that the next best is 6.4.5 ... so far each of the 6.6.x versions have had one major issue or another ...
