It seems that everytime a GPUGRID task finishes, conhost.exe is called for and remains running in the Windows Task Manager. I've read conhost is new in Windows 7, that it replaces CSRSS in Vista and previous versions of Windows. That's why I don't have the same issue in my Vista machine. But why would that exectuable remain running? Each iteration of conhost.exe unnecessarily takes ~1MB from memory, and when I come home from work I see at least 6 of them in the Task Manager. Is this normal, or something to be addressed in future updates?
