Why is it, when I attempt to attach to GPUgrid, that BOINC says "This project may not have work available for your type of computer. Are you sure you wish to continue?"

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on an Intel Core i7-860, with three GTS 250 cards, and BOINC 6.10.18.

I have Googled for this and came up with nothing.

Probably because the project doesn't have an application specifically designated for 64-bit windows. But I'm sure the generic 'Microsoft Windows (98 or later)' applications will work for you.

It does seem to be working fine.

It says the same for some other projects, including WCG which uses a CPU and runs about 6 different types of experiment.

Dont worry about it!
