What else are you doing with your system?

If you have the A revision ones this is a known issue. You'll need to grab a copy of GPU-Z to determine if you have an A revision (65nm) or a B revision (55nm) GTX260. If its a recent model (ie B revision) then it should work. Do you have other cards in the machine? If so make sure multi-GPU mode is disabled in nvidia control panel. ____________ BOINC blog

There was also someone have troubles with a GTX260 in this thread & solved it this way. Message 18338 But how is your temps? Heat makes it more prone to errors, so increasing the voltage if the problem is heat, will only make more heat. If you use Windows as I see in your details. Try checking out Nvidia Control Panel Performance Group Do you run SLI with the other card used for PhysX. Turn this off, disable SLI, it doesn't work with GPUGRID.

I have the revision A. I know that for sure. I'm also running the GTX 260 Black Edition, which is overclocked from the factory. When I do play games, I snooze BOINC everytime I play. I'll have to check my temps.

Looks like I'm holding a solid 72-73 on my GPU. Don't think heats the issue. Specs are as follows:

You cannot use SLI to crunch; 1 task only per card.

I have the same one, no chance to crunch GPUGRID now.

After trying a9800GTX, good for SETI CUDA, but not very fast.

There is no ATI app at present. You can get an idea of the situation in this thread, http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=1458. Some day your 5770 might work here, but not the 4850.

I see you have your ATI cards well occupied elsewhere. Good to hear you are keeping yourself busy. Hope you get your GTX470 running tasks here again. It’s a good card, especially here. XP and Linux X64 are best for GPUGrid, due to the complexities of the apps/WU’s and the Vista/Win7 user interface.

I've installed a pair of GTX 460 1024MB cards and WOW!!!! It seems the Black Edition does not handle GPUGRID well after a driver set from a year ago. I have these cards running SLI and it still uses each card. I'm running some high WU's now. It's crazy!

So SLI can be left on now, at least for GTX460's?

So SLI can be left on now, at least for GTX460's? I haven't left a core free. It just uses 0.08 cpu + 1 nvidia card per gpugrid task. My drivers are running alright so I'm going to hold off on the beta driver for now. I don't know what swan_sync is. What does it do?

I freed up one core and it still runs the same. 0.08 cpu + 1 nvidia card. Does freeing up a processor really make a difference or did I not do it right?

Had a look at BOINC and found, GPUGrid WU using 0.18CPU+ 1 GPU, (GTX470 & 480), but enough CPU resources to run another,
