I have an Intel Q6600 (quad core) running WCG and a GT240 running GPUGrid. I've noticed my average GPUGrid credit has been steadily dropping over the last month.

Any idea why? How do I find the problem/solution? Should I check my temperatures? (GPU n00b ;/)

I've read somewhere that some 'TONI'-tasks that errored out have a negative influence on the following tasks.
I've seen this myself too, but didn't know the reason.

My solution:
Shutdown your machine (really power off) and restart. This way your GPU got a kind of reset.

Just try and report here whether the runtimes (and credits ;) ) increase again.

Actually, during this month, I did major surgery on my computer -- replaced the CPU fan entirely. I also moved houses. So I've had it shut off and on for a while :/ in fact, that's more strongly correlated with credit dropping.

Anyhow, SpeedFan is reporting 83-85 degrees, I think the max is 100, so that's not the problem ...

I'll try shutting down and see what happens. FYI, I've noticed the average runtime for a WU doubled -- it used to be 12-16 hours, it's now around 33 hours.

Could it also be related to lack of available memory? My RAM consumption in general went up during this time.

You have missed many 50% and 25% bonus deadlines, that's all. Your tasks are running well.
Your system being off explains missing most bonuses, but you have also ran longer tasks, which still require you to finish in 24h to get the 50% bonus.

Have you setup a CC_Config file to report tasks immediately?

If not, read this thread.

I have the same GPU as you. To compare first two tasks of your machine and then 2 tasks of mine:

Your wallclock runtime is much longer, because of your shader clock speed.
Yours is 1.34 and mine 1.74.
Your advantage is much lower cpu-usage ;)
Nothing wrong with your machine, it seems.

@skgiven thanks, I'll try that.

It seems that it's just big WUs or lack of immediate notification on complete tasks. Great! Let's hope this "fixes" it :)
