Works for me, but on a GTX470:
I5R92-NATHAN_RPS1120528-11-166-RND0162_2 3507092 25 Jun 2012 | 21:44:05 UTC 26 Jun 2012 | 6:38:11 UTC Completed and validated 24,334.46 517.02 60,900.00 Long runs (8-12 hours on fastest card) v6.16 (cuda42)

Might it just be the first one that fails and that subsequent cuda4.2 tasks complete?

Hi, Thanks for commenting on his experience.

I conclude that it cards GTX200 series ... are not compatible with CUDA 4.2 and should be reserved for FERMI and KEPLER (in Linux), shame I can not change time. Greetings.

I have completed over 12 tasks with CUDA42 workunits on Ubuntu 64 bit with Nvidia 302.17 and 295.59 drivers both on a GTX480 (used bought from Amazon for about $200).

Worth noting right now that GPUGrid says that GTX480 is the top performer as of today on GPU Models for computers running Linux

I can also confirm that the CUDA 4.2 application works correctly in Linux with both GTX 580 and 680. I am running driver 295.33 on my systems.

Using openSUSE 11.4 x86_64 with driver 295.49 on a GTX560Ti without problems.
