Is there any scientific advantage in running the long runs over the short runs? | |

I run long runs if my hardware can finish them within 24 hours. I think this keeps the short runs available for others whose hardware is slower/older. I feel that this keeps the lesser cards able of participating for longer, but maybe the scientists would just make more short runs if the need arose? | |
