... but also an output file of 1/3 of the current size. Now that is good news! After three hours of upload for each of my last two WUs I missed the 24-hour target by about 15 minutes! ____________

So, I am on CUDA 4.2.x; but driver 301.42. There was a new driver out, maybe 304.x or 306.x which we were advised to avoid.

So, what would be the proper driver number now acceptible? I've been running 310.70 for about three weeks. No problems... ____________

In a week or so, we wil also upgrade the applications to a newer version with mainly science related improvements, but also an output file of 1/3 of the current size. How will this be done? (Compressing?)

Thanks. I am relieved. Playing around with Nvidia drivers is not my cup of tea. ____________ Please check out my blog http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings

If you don't have a problem with a driver then don't upgrade.

My cards crunch the NOELIA-mega tasks in time, but I struggle to report the 135 MB files within the 24 hours timeframe.

Are there any Infos how soon we can expect the "shorter Upload"-App?

I just got back from vacation, so do not quote me on this, but I believe sometime this month we will update the app. It will cut upload sizes to 1/3 (33%) of what is typical now. A huge improvement for everyone. Until the update we will have to continue to suffer the large upload sizes. We will let you know a date for the update as soon as we know it.
