The project is operated solely by our research group here at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). The UPF is a public university in Spain. You can read about it here:

All research done on GPUGRID is done with the intention of release to the public domain (once it is completed, of course). No work done on GPUGRID is done for any private company or organization.
