Here is gtx460 typical error. Note that all user compuoters reported an error or were user aborted. My dual opteron gtx460 had 18 valid and 16 invalid as shown here.

This dual gtx670 has 25 errors and 106 valid and currently is processing 2 gpugrid tasks but GPU utilization is, and has been for some time, exactly ZERO "0.0".

Was unable to edit my posting so I had to do a followup:

The error shown here names the application as "beta". However, I have had "beta" excluded in my preferences for a long time. Why was I given a "beta"?

On the preferences page to disable beta there are two boxes you must deselect. One is 3rd item in the list and in plain view but I almost always miss it. The other is further down under the Run only the selected applications item.

Thanks! Although your post was cryptic I looked and found that I had left "test app" checked. I just unchecked "test app" which I assume is same as beta.

The only "exploder" I had was a 96 ford explorer that I got rid of after the transmission exploded twice.

Ahh! The infamous '96 Ford Exploder. Did you by chance buy it from an online ad you came across while surfing with Internet Exploder?

Want to correct my original post where I complained the GPU utilization was 0. This was a problem with precision x 4.2.1 and a re-install of the nvidia program fixed the misleading GPU utilization. The problem with the gpugrid app generating errors is still a problem but it seems to have been gpugrid's "test app" that caused the problem.

It might have been the test app, or it might have been a bad batch of tasks that were inadvertently put into the test queue - see Stefan's post.

Still getting a lot of errors on gtx460. THIS is a mix of three GTX460 and one gtx650Ti. I looked at a few tasks but I don't see a task restarting on the 650 after working on the 460 or vice-versa. I do see a task restarting on another 460 after a "becoming unstable" on a previous gt460. Anyway, there are only 3 valid tasks and 28 with errors due to "becomeing unstable". The few validated also has "becoming unstable" but managed somehow to finish. On the other hand, THIS gtx670 system has mostly valid as well as THIS gtx570 systems.

For now I am switching the gtx460 to other projects. I have been watching the temps and the highest gtx460 is 83 and my throttle program starts at 85. Temps are generally in the mid 70s except the 650Ti which is cooler.
