There seems to be a lack of general information as to what research I'm donating my compute time to (without digging through endless forum topics). At the very least, I would like to see more information on application-specific projects.

Looking into the latest News section threads where every new batch ist explained could not be too much work.. ;) It is easier for the scientists to write an thread in the newssection rather then change the html code everytime i would presume. Not everyone can do this.

It would make sense if each WU contained the type of research they relate to; Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Neural disorders, Methodologies.

I suggest adding Cancer, HIV, Neural, Methods to the task names. If these are too long use C, H, N or M and explain it in a FAQ.

Please not that some past WU's did contain this info and others eluded to the science; KASHIF_HIVPR, TONI_SH2MS3

HOW TO:
- Opt out of Beta Tests

Yes that is actually a nice idea skgiven. I myself work nearly exclusively on methodology so not much to write you about, but I can forward it to the rest and see if they are interested.
