SWAN : FATAL Unable to load module .mshake_kernel.cu. (999)

Problem started with a STOP 0A BSOD: Machine started OK, and both GPUs were working for another project's tasks. When I released this job to restart, I got an immediate driver restart and this error.

Rebooted again to be on the safe side, and it's now running a NOELIA_FXArep without problems.

I'm getting several errors (Windows 8.1 x64, 334.67 drivers) that say:

<core_client_version>7.2.39</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
The file exists.
(0x50) - exit code 80 (0x50)
</message>

and the last line in the stderr.txt file is:
# BOINC suspending at user request (exit)

I think that suspending/resuming tasks isn't working very well. Tasks are erroring out, when being resumed.

MJH: Can we look into this? I'm not sure if it's the application, or if it's the new BETA drivers, or if it's an issue that has always been there. But I would like it fixed!

Hoping you agree, and available to help,
Jacob

Updating GPU Z from 7.4 to 7.6 resulted in my system to hang, after 23.5 days consecutive and error free running.
Both GPUGRID WU's where Santi's, one errored out after the reboot, the other, was 98% finished on the 770, but started from zero after the reboot. Both is not good.

We have a saying here. You can try as hard as you like but you cannot polish a turd. Windows is a turd and no matter what you or MJH does it will always be a turd. Get with Linux and your problems will disappear.

I see that you don't like Windows. That's okay.

I still would prefer that this problem be fixed, and I think I need MJH's help to isolate where the problem is happening.

and the last line in the stderr.txt file is:
# BOINC suspending at user request (exit)

With the beta drivers I have been getting that error on my GTX 660s, both under Win7 64-bit and WinXP (32-bit).

In addition, on my GTX 650 Ti (WinXP) I get:
# Simulation unstable. Flag 3 value 1
# The simulation has become unstable. Terminating to avoid lock-up
# The simulation has become unstable. Terminating to avoid lock-up (2)
# Attempting restart (step 2743000)
# GPU [GeForce GTX 650 Ti] Platform [Windows] Rev [3203M] VERSION [42]

Those problems did not occur with the 331.65 (Win7) and 332.21 drivers (WinXP). And the beta drivers run more slowly under Win7 64-bit for me than the earlier drivers, so I don't know why that message occurs at all.

But I can't say that it is really a problem yet, since I have gotten no actual errors out of it, though it is a warning.

I see that you don't like Windows.

Oh heck no. I love Windows! When I want to inflict needless pain and suffering on people I don't like I recommend they upgrade their Windows to 8.1. I get a kick out of seeing them fork out money for even more problems. Windows is great for that and I love it for that purpose. It's like watching your enemy poke himself in the eye with a sharp stick.

Of course I would never use it myself or recommend it to people I like. That would be creepy. One day when you've had enough you'll go Linux and hearing you say "I should have done it 10 years ago" will be sufficient satisfaction for me.

Anyway I'll STFU now.
