Hi:

I have been been donating CPU time for many years on various projects. I started with SETI@HOME but they have had only ONE "WOW" signal since the project was created. It is hard to recruit new members in a project that has a out of this out-of-this-world goal. I now donate CPU time to various projects on World Community Grid (The Clean Energy Project and Lets Outsmart Ebola) Donating time in these projects make more sense to me than trying to find ET. As these projects are practical and benefit humanity, it is easy for me to have conversations with friends and family to bring them on-board as well. The downside is that their projects only use the CPU and I wanted to use the GPU as well. This is where GPUGRID comes in.

I do have two wishes for CPUGRID:

Allow the user to be able to choose the project he/she wants to participate in.

The World Community Grid has a webpage where the completion percentage of various projects is posted. There is nothing like that here. Is seems like it is bottomless pit here. People want to visually see some measure of progress.
