A new milestone for GPUGrid I think. Well done.

But can it handle Crysis?

Sure it can: recent studies [1] have shown that Crysis features a negative cruncho-productivity charge. A GPU-Grid crunching computer develops a positive one, hence a repulsive force is felt as soon as any Crysis installation medium approaches a critical distance to any crunching PC. I haven't measured this yet, but a quick estimate on the back of an envelope suggests the distance to be about 2 +/- 1 DVDs. So we should be pretty safe, as only few Crysis installations will be able to tunnel through this barrier.

It is not yet ascertained what happens to those which actually tunnel. The lifetime of this exotic state can be rather high. On the other hand the activation energy is said to become very high after a short initial activity burst.

Further studies are needed to quantify the impact of this phenomenon on GPU-Grid throughput. This will be essential to keep crunching even when next generation Crysis' appear, which are expected to have even stronger charges and might even propagate into PCs through unshielded telecommunication lines. Currently efforts are made to combat this crunching power leak further.

That just made my day.

As for the the effect on the infected computers, they will be gutted and re-outfitted with premium components and then overclocked near the point of catching fire. Once the infected computers can return to crunching, their RAC will reach new heights.

Now it says we're down to 1.5 PetaFlops. What's happening?

Summer in the northern hemisphere is "happening".

The number of the active users is dropping in every BOINC projects (these charts have two month 'delay')

My gaming laptop can handle Crysis very well on Full HD.
The Witcher 3 however... is the new Crysis.

Yikes, that's precipitous!

I don't blame anyone for not being able to handle the excess heat.

Would be cool to have a service to loan out our GPUs - let them migrate north for the summer.
