If I am duplicating a prior tread posting please forgive me. The ATM application is not correctly calculating Percentage complete while the task is running. On my fairly low end Windows System with a modest GPU it goes to 100% a long time prior to task completion. Usually this and Run times adjust them selves fairly quickly after an application is released.

Please advise.

Thanks
Bill F

Because this is still classed as a Beta application, we've been discussing it in the announcement thread in the News area. This and many other issues have been covered at length.

Originally, these tasks were five times longer, and produced output files which were too large for their institution's server to accept. As a workround, the tasks were split into five: you can see this in the task name. It contains (near the end) markers '0-5' thru '4-5'.

The first task in each group - 0-5 - records %age complete properly. All the others haven't been able to correctly recognise where they've got to, and display the sudden jump to 100% that you see. The programmers could fix this (we can't), but haven't.

Richard

Thank you for the information. I saw a message that said effectively "don't complain here... it does no good this is were you should post" with at URL of
https://www.gpugrid.net/about.php

When you go to that page it shows the individuals running the science for the Project and the URL's for them ... go to a web hosting page offering the page for sale. Normally not a good sign.

Have a great day

Don't know what browser you were using, it works for me. I just click on each researcher's website link and it takes me to their website which contains their contact information.

Keith

I generated an email to the Lead scientist requesting assistance. It's worth a try.

Thanks

Update

I have received a reply from Gianni De Fabritiis regarding this problem and he is forwarding my concern regarding ATM Percentage complete calculation to the developer.

Not surprising to get a fast response from Gianni when contacted.

Next is to see whether you get some response from the developer.
