Until recently, all WUs returned have been awarded 3375. My last two were awarded 3586. Is this intentional? I am guessing the answer is yes, since the run time has gone up from ~80k sec to ~88k sec.

I see that credits awarded appear to be no longer fixed. For example, all results were awarded 3586, regardless of run time. Now it looks like it variable, perhaps based on run time. Is this correct? Can the method please be explained? A good illustration can be seen here:

Yes, from now credits reported by the application are validated. We will tune the app to report in avg the right credits. This is in order to be more flexible with submitting multiple workunits of different length. Something that we are going to do soon. Fixed credits are complicated because we need to guess them in advance. It is probably temporary and only if there are no issues. Later on, the application will be modified to return the exact credits, not just credit per second as it is now.
